Premature graying: causes and treatment methods

Gray hair is a dignity, but when it appears at an early age, an annoying problem appears with it, which is the problem of premature graying.
Premature graying is not a rare condition. Rather, some studies indicate that 50% of men and 25% of women show some signs of graying before the age of 40. Of course, the prevalence of the condition varies from one country to another and from one race to another.
There are many reasons for the appearance of premature graying, but there are main factors that may be the reason behind it, including:
* Genetics: Genes play a major role in determining the age at which gray hair appears.
* Deficiency of some vitamins and nutrients: such as vitamin B12, calcium, copper, zinc, iron and selenium.
* Chronic diseases: such as psoriasis and alopecia.
* Stress and psychological stress: The body then secretes hormones that affect the production of melanin, which leads to gray hair.
* Smoking: Smoking causes damage to free radicals in hair cells, leading to gray hair.
Every disease has a cure, and just as the causes of premature graying are numerous, so are the methods of treating premature graying:
1- Hair dyeing: Hair dyeing may be an effective solution to get rid of premature greying, but although it gives an immediate and satisfactory result, it is temporary and in the long run leads to a weakening of the hair bark and also a weakening of its resistance to weather factors and external factors. Thus, after a while, hair splitting occurs and it is affected. The scalp and hair follicles are negatively affected by the chemicals they have been exposed to
2- Laser treatment: Although laser treatment may be an effective solution to get rid of white hair on the head, laser is rarely used to treat premature graying because it is very expensive. In addition, it removes hair from its roots and may cause gaps in the scalp.
3- Anti gray hair serum
Lovesage serum is currently the first serum in Egypt to treat premature graying through its effective ingredients that gradually treat the defect in the melanin pigment, such as melanogray, which is an anti-oxidant substance that causes the breakdown or reduction of melanin pigment in the hair. It also contains darkenyl, which is a catalyst for increasing the production of Melanin in the hair again, in addition to natural oils that are very beneficial for the hair at this stage.
